The Williams PTSA is accepting memberships. All Williams HS parents and students are invited to join. Member benefits include discounts for Sea World, T Mobile, Dell, Schlitterbahn, and Six Flags. Last year the Williams HS PTSA activities included Parent Programs, Science Camp, and the purchase of new technology for use by the students this year. The PTSA mission is to support the education and welfare of all students and families. By purchasing a membership, you are supporting that mission. No volunteering is required, but if you would like to volunteer we can find a place for you. To become a member, fill out the attached form and turn it in to the office with $10.50 per member. Students, a membership looks great on a college application! Contact Julie Richard with any questions.
Snack Sales during lunch is your PTSA's major fundraiser, and supports programs at Williams for students, parents, and teachers. Sales of nutritionally approved snacks began this week. The tables are located in the hallway past the cafeteria between the gym and the natatorium. Remind your students about this great way to support their school as well as to get that special snack to help them make it through the day.
As a parent, we need your help! You can support this activity by volunteering your time once or twice a month. This presents a great opportunity for parents to see daily school life at Williams! Three adults support the sale each day. Please contact Robin Gray if you are interested. Volunteer today if you haven't already!
In the front office at Williams are forms to connect your grocery purchases (Kroger, Tom Thumb, or Albertsons) to benefit Williams. No extra purchase is needed for you with these "painless fundraisers". Once you link your card, our partner grocery stores will send PTSA money that supports our school. If you have any questions, contact Robin Gray Thanks for your support!
If the answer is yes, then please keep your receipts! Collin Creek will be awarding $20,000 at the end of the school year to those schools who make the minimum number of points for their "My School's Cool" program. You can drop your receipts in the Cool Box at the front office, or at locations in the Mall. (If you like to keep your receipts, you can get them stamped at the mall and receive a receipt for points for Williams.) Watch enews for more information and special days where we can earn more points. It's another painless way to support programs for you, your student and staff.
