How to I find library resources from home?

Link to library resources page: http://k12.pisd.edu/learning-media-services From home you will need the login: planoisd and the password:explore. Follow the same procedure as you would from school.

How do I find library resources from school?

At school, from the mypisd.net page, go to the mydesktop tab, click on the library resources page inside the quick links box. On the next screen, click on library resources, then on the following page, click on grades 6-12, then Williams HS.

How do I find out if I have any overdue books?

On the library catalog page in the upper right hand corner by the Texas map, click on log-in. For the log-in, use your student i.d. For the password, use your birthdate, 2 digits for month, 2 for day and 2 for year.

How do I find citation help?

Across the tab in the library resources page, there will be a citation link. It will take you to links for citation help for MLA and APA. It even has information on citing web sites, media sources, etc.

Are there any encyclopedias online?

Yes, the World Book Encyclopedia is available at home and school. Go to the library resources pages and click on the database categories on the top gray tab. This is available in English or Spanish.

How can I find pictures that are copyright free and sources where they came from?

There are pictures on the databases, such as AP Photo Archive, Ebsco images, and even great ones from World Book Encyclopedia.
