Club Description: Selected students will participate in performing skits and plays of a variety of genres to perform at various special events.

Falcon Chorale

Sponsor: Caroline Keller (469-752-1232) Participating Grades: 4th, 5th
Club Description: Students extend the vocal techniques learned in the music classroom in a large ensemble setting. Music is performed not only for the school and parents but also in the community.

Forman SCORES

Sponsors: Jana Sandall (469-752-1260), Russell Sanders, Ramiro Ardon
Participating Grades: 5th Grade
Club Description: Forman SCORES is an after-school sports program dedicated to not only teaching students the rules of the game, but also helping students succeed in the classroom by teaching skills such as dedication, perseverance, teamwork, organization, and sportsmanship.

Robotics

Participating Grades: 3rd-5th
Club Description: Robotics is designed for students to learn by building and programming models. Students will be investigating, writing about, and discussing ideas they encounter using the models in the LEGO Education WeDO Activity Pack provided by the program. Using these materials, students are encouraged to build and program a working model and then use the model for different purposes, depending upon the theme of the activity and its focused subject matter in science, technology, mathematics or language.

Junior Einsteins

Sponsors: Andrea Jaramillo and Ronnie Cantu (469-752-1218)
Participating Grades: 3rd and 4th
Club Description: Junior Einsteins is a 7-week after-school Science Program, created to increase the love of Science. The science club participates in lessons and hands-on activities that have been designed to develop academic language to improve science and reading performance on campus. This experience will encourage the students become future scientists as they participate in numerous science experiments that involve the scientific process. We are Hooked on Science!

Student Council

Club Description: Students making a difference in the school community, by exhibiting leadership characteristics to improve school spirit, and planning fun, school-wide activities.

T.W.I.S.T. (Talent With Instruments, Singing, and Toe-Tapping)

Participating Grades: 5th
Club Description: Students audition in singing, dancing and performing on classroom instruments, forming a small ensemble. This ensemble extends the learning that takes place in the music class and makes it performance-ready.Students must keep A/B average in all academic grades and citizenship.

WordMasters

Participating Grade: 4th
Club Description: WordMasters is a fun and mind-stretching national competition that encourages growth in vocabulary and verbal reasoning.WordMasters competition addresses higher-level word-comprehension and logical abilities and helps students learn to think both analytically and metaphorically.
